ABOUT THE LOCATION

Qutub Minar is a heritage site in the Mehrauli region of New Delhi. It is a five storeyed tapering tower with 379 steps. It was first constructed in 1192 by the Mughal King, Qutab-Ud-Din-Aibak. And over the years, other Mughal rulers like Iltutmish, Firoz Shah Tughlaq and Sher Shah Suri added for to this beautiful minaret.

1. Weather

The Delhi weather is pretty doubtful during winters. So, the smog could be a trouble for the lens at times. The heat during summers is bad too. So, you will have to choose the time wisely for the shoot.

2. Crowd

Since it is a monument, people are usually roaming about a lot which could be trouble for the shoot. Hence, you will need to choose the timings for shoot appropriately.

3. Dress Change

Though the place is amazing for you to try out different ensembles, you might face trouble in finding place for changing.

4. Fooding

You will have to find your own convenience for food though there are many street food options available in and about the peripheries of Qutub Minar.

OVERALL REVIEW

Qutub Minar is a beautiful venue for your shoot. However, you will have to make sure that in order to capture the aesthetic view, you will have to make sure that people are not very scattered around the area for your shoot. Hopefully, if the crowd is friendly they can accommodate.

Make it a point to book a hotel nearby, so that you can easily change your ensembles for your shoot. Visit the place at a time when it is not crowded. Best part is that the venue is unpaid, so you can easily make the best of this opportunity. We also suggest that Winters would be an appropriate time for the shoot as the smog could be troublesome. The month of October would be great.
